overall • Standing at 5”9, Jake is average height, and may be considered tall by some. Due to working out at the gym and going for runs, a love of his, he is quite well built, as he doesn’t like to get out of shape, trying his best to keep fit. He is naturally an active person, which helps him stay healthy. Jake is undeniably good-looking, but he doesn’t flaunt it, not one to brag. He has short, dark brown hair, and pale, clear skin. His eyes are a deep chocolate brown, and are usually the thing that draws people to him most. He has an intense stare, especially when he is sketching or concentrating hard. He is pretty clueless about fashion, knowing only the basics, not really caring about the rest.
personality
likes • art, going to art galleries, sketching, painting, drawing, his friends, running, reading
dislikes • being teased, being called a geek, modern art sculptures- though he paints in a modern style at times
habits/quirks • sitting alone and watching people go by, going for runs to clear his head, sticking his tongue out slightly when drawing
fears • failing, embarrassing himself in public
dreams • to be a successful artist
secrets • he doubts how good his work is
overall • Jake might be perceived as being shy, though he simply is quite reserved. He doesn’t exactly fit in; the quiet boy in the corner with his sketchpad, but don’t let first impressions fool you. Once he gets to know a person, he becomes completely relaxed, joking and laughing like anyone. He values his friends, and is extremely loyal, not one to spill a secret that had been told to him in confidence. Jake is kind and caring, and is the kind of guy who loves to spoil a girl he is going out with.
Even so, he is definitely not soft, and would stand up for himself or one of his friends without a second’s thought. Due to his love of running and working out at the gym, he is very strong, and can defend himself in a fight. Jake is strong-willed, knows his principles and sticks to them, always determined to prove his point. He is willing to hear others out on their views, whether or not he’ll agree is a different story. His art is very important to him, as it gives him an escape, sometimes he loves just to get away from it all, sit in a busy place, sketching passers-by as they hurry on past.
family history
[/size]mother • amy grey; 45; housewife
father • matthew grey; 47; businessman
siblings • sienna grey; 15; music student
pets • oscar; dog
other family • --
overall • Both from rich New York families, Amy and Matthew were almost destined to be together from a young age. Their parents were close friends, leading to the two of them spending lots of time with each other, becoming good friends as children. When the pair began high school, they soon, under the immense pressure of hormone fuelled teenagers‘ gossip, realised their feelings went a lot further than just friendship. They were the perfect couple, hopelessly in love, the envy of all their classmates. Both popular, the two of them married in their twenties, moving to Ohio to settle down and have a family.
Jake has one younger sister, Sienna, who also attends St Andrew‘s as a music student. He is quite protective over her, and likes to keep an eye on the things she does, just in case. He has been attending the school the full seven years, and is now a senior. Art has been his passion for as long as he can remember, and, though he isn‘t as loud as others, he is a lot more serious about what he does.

It was a sunny Saturday afternoon, quite warm for September, so Megan had decided to brave the elements and wear some shorts. It was still, technically, summer, even if England hardly ever behaved so. The weather was so unpredictable it could change from a boiling hot day to a miserable grey one in a matter of hours. However, Megan had felt like being optimistic, and had actually listened to the weatherman with the dodgy comb over as he promised clear skies and bright sunshine all day. Finding herself with little to do, apart from of course homework- that was what Sunday’s were made for, right?- she decided to head down to one of her favourite haunts: Starbucks.
Seeing as most of her friends were off doing something or other, Megan made her way down there alone, wearing a floaty green top, white shorts and some green wedge shoes to make her feel that little bit taller. On her head she propped her much loved Prada sunglasses, and she left the school through the grounds. Clifton wasn’t as far from central London as one might think, simply a short tube ride away, though Megan wasn’t heading into central London just then. She opted for a Starbucks just a short walk from the school, on the outskirts of the city. It was a place she went to often to get her caffeine fixes, as they made excellent lattes.
Walking down the street, she noticed it was quite empty for a Saturday afternoon, only a few exhausted-looking shoppers hustling and bustling down the street, arms laden with bags of some sort. There were a few quite popular shops in this part of town, though it was nothing compared to the centre of the city. She walked into Starbucks, inhaling the soothing aroma of fresh coffee being made, and headed straight over to the counter, where she ordered her favourite type of latte. Moving aside, she stood, waiting for her coffee to be made, taking a look around the shop as she did so.
