overall • Kirby tends to be of average height, standing just at 5 ft 4.5 in. Kirby is also extremely fit. She has a very athletic body, very lean and toned. Her appearance is not bulky, but it is very evident that she is not an indoor girl. Her main passion is ballet, which her life seems to revolve around. Kirby rarely goes a single day without practice. However, the teen does excell at other areas of dance. She tends to have a natural talent for anything but her second choices would probably be hip hop and jazz.
Kirby's hair falls in soft waves about chest length. Her hair is very layered, the shortest ones reaching just above her chin. This is also the length of Kirby's side bangs. The color is a soft brunette with what appears to be natural, light auburn colored highlights. Kirby has almond shaped, gray-green colored eyes. They are not overly intense, very light in coloring. It is very easy to see her emotions through them, as the teen is not very capable of hiding what she is feeling.
Kirby's skin color can be described as medium in shade. She has an inability to tan, so her skin is virtually the same shade year round. It is very important to her to take care of her skin, and her efforts clearly show. Not a single blemish is ever noticable on her skin, what pimple that might spring up out of no where is quickly covered, and shortly disapears. However, birth marks do not go away, and Kirby is not without one. She has a small patch of skin just a shade darker on the inside of her upper arm. Rarely anyone notices this, and it is of no concern.
Kirby's best feature is her smile. She has excellent oral hygiene. Brushing and flossing after every meal have left her teeth brilliantly white. Being very lucky, Kirby never had issues with her teeth. No braces were ever necessary. She is always smiling, even when she may not be the happiest at the time. This alone tends to make people feel comfortable around her.
Kirby is not without her fair share piercings. Each of her lobes are double pierced. On the top of her left ear is another piercing, which is rarely changed from a small diamond stud. Kirby also has her belly button pierced, it is not only the most recent, but probably the last piercing she will have done.
It is safe to say that Kirby does not have her own unique style, but it suits her just fine. She can usually be seen wearing very feminine clothing. Whether it is frills, lace, or just girly dresses, Kirby will wear it. She usually wears clothes that have movement, very unfitted dresses and tops. Her lifestyle involves a lot of activity and the teen does not like to feel constricted in any way. Caring very much about her personal appearance, you will never see her wearing t-shirts without her hair done. The only exception to her usual dress is while she is dancing. Her drawers are stocked with dance clothes just for the purpose of practicing. Kirby is not in to many accessories. She can usually be seen carrying a large, worn leather bag and a pair of oversized sunglasses. She hates being weighed down by any jewelry that is not a simple stud.

habits/quirks • When Kirby is uncomfortable, she tends play with her hands a lot, snapping her fingers, picking her nails, etc.
Kirby also tends to click her pen a lot when she is concentrating or can not think of something.
fears • Kirby is afraid of getting too close to people. She doesn't like to get hurt so she puts up a wall.
dreams • Kirby really wants to sing. She loves singing more than anything.
secrets •
[Distrusting]
Kirby does not like people knowing that she is judging them. She judges everyone and always expects the worst in people. She does not like people to see this, as she likes being known as the outgoing girl.
[Singing]
Kirby hates dancing, the only reason she does it is because it was what her father had always wanted her to do, plus she is sort of expected to do it because of her mother. She hates all the pressure and would much rather spend her time singing.
overall •
[Emotional]Kirby is a very emotional person. Whether she is angry, hurt, sad, or happy, she lets the world see it. She is incapable of hiding her feelings and doesn't believe she has to. If she feels the need to blow up at somebody or cry herself a river, she believes that she is in her right to do so. The slightest things can affect Kirby's mood in dramatic ways. She could be hating life and find a dollar on the ground, and all of a sudden be the happiest person in the world. She could have the slightest, most insignificant fight with a friend, and she could drive herself into complete isolation.
[Always Right]Kirby is always right. There is no questioning that fact. She simply refuses to admit that she is wrong and will passionately argue with somebody until they agree. There ar no ifs, ands, nor butts. You could be as persuasive as you wan't to be, but Kirby does not accept any answer but her own. It is safe to say that she is very arguementative and has not problem starting large debates. In other words, Kirby is very stubborn.
[Outgoing]Kirby is extremely outgoing. She loves nothing more than to be out partying with her friends. Much like her training, she can't go a single day without hanging out with somebody. Kirby is one of those girls that can talk non stop, and has a warmth about her that attracts people. She has no difficulty meeting new friends and she can pretty much get along with anybody. The teen also tends to have the ability to pull anyone out of their shell, no matter how shy.
[Guarded]Kirby fears getting to close to people. Although she is highly outgoing, there is a certain point at which puts up a wall and doesn't let anyone pass. This mainly is because of her father's death, she does not want to be hurt. If she does not get close to anyone, when that person disappears a lot less pain is involved. She does not like getting to that point where people tell here everything, because then she is expected to do the same. She doesn't trust anyone with her secrets and she does not want to pour her soul to anyone, no matter how close. This is often an issue in relationships because when she feels that things are getting to serious, she shuts down and often gives off a very cold vibe.
[Romantic]Kirby is a deap romantic at heart. She has always been a sucker for chivalry and wants nothing more than the guy who would open doors, bring her chocolates, pull out her chair, etc. She loves the charmers, which often causes her to overlook certain flaws in personalities. As important as a good personality is in a relationship, Kirby believes that it is very important to be physically attracted to somebody so that does not hurt either. An easy way to get this girl's attention is to simply act like a gentlemen.
[Intelligent]Kirby doesn't like to get a big head but she is quite the brain. She is slightly an overachiever, going above and beyond on pretty much anything school related. She is pretty much a strait A student, with the exception of History. She never did quite grasp the importance of the subject. However, the teen does not like to flaunt her intelligence due to the fact that she does not want to be known as the nerdy student. Kirby is rather mature for her age though, and is quite in tune to what is going on in the world and loves to have meaningful conversations.
[Competitive]Kirby is an extremely competitive person. Just as she hates to be wrong, she hates to lose. Honestly, there would be no point in doing any sort of sport if she was not going to have success. Almost as much as her hatred of losing, Kirby hates people letting her win. She does not understand why any girl would want a guy to take pity on them so that the guy could in turn recieve the girl's favor. Kirby believes this is stupid, and would much rather have someone that would actually challenge her and put up a good fight.
[Distrusting]Kirby would never admit it, but she is always running things through her mind whenever she meets someone knew. She is always thinking of how that person will screw her over in the end. Usually this does not affect her outward actions so much, but she is always considering a person's alternative motives. Whether the question is, "Is this person hanging out with me for the right reasons?" or "Is this person just using me?" Kirby does not let on that she is thinking these things, but the questions are always in the back of her mind.
[Athletic]Kirby is extremely athletic. She has a nack for picking up almost any sport. She loves to play rough, team sports such as football, soccer, etc. However, she is stuck doing Ballet because that is what her father always wanted her to do.
[Rebellious]Kirby hates following the rules. To her, rules are only there to keep you confined and restricted, and thus should only be enforced in prison or somthing. It isn't that she is a trouble maker, or a prankster, she just does not like being told what to do. She tends to do the opposite of whatever someone tells her. Her daddy says don't play sports, and it makes her want to play sports even more. She is more of a free thinker, she dislikes boundaries.
[Unstable]Kirby is just a touch unstable. She has never been on solid ground since her dad died. During the earlier years, she went through a couple stages of depression, and she has never fully recovered. There will be times when Kirby believes that she could just shut down and get away from it all. She doesn't like not being in control, and whenever something happens that is relatively uncontrollable (like her dad's death), she mentally breaks down.

overall • Holly met Dale when she was only nineteen years old. Holly was on ehr way to a prestigous dance academy in New York. She was ranked one of the most talented, up and coming ballet dancers. Holly was sure that she was going to be a star. However, once she met Dale at a party she had attended, only a week before she would be off to the academy. That night she had a little to much to drink, and made a few mistakes. Sure enough, Holly found out she was pregnant. Holly and Dale decided they were going to work things out for the baby's sake, but Holly had to give up her dancing career.
Kirby was premature. She was just under a month too early and no one was quite prepared for her coming. A massive thunderstorm had started just as quickly as Holly's labor. There was no time to rush to a hospital, so Kirby was born right there in the home she would spend her entire life in. Everything went ok, there were no complications and once the storm had passed, Kirby was checked into the hospital. Dale and Holly argued for quite some time over the newborn's name. Holly insisted on calling the little girl Daniella, after all, it was her middle name. Dale wished to call his little princess Kirby. Although the name was unusual, he knew his daughter was special, and deserved a unique name. However, Holly was stubborn, and Dale only wanted to make her happy. Thus, the baby girl was named Daniella Kirby Evonhart.
"Daniella" was born into a family filled with boys. She had two brothers. The eldest was Bryan, who was already at the age of five by the time of her birth. The second was Josef, who was only three. As much as Dale loved his sons, he was immediately closest to his little princess. Daniella learned to walk rather quickly, after all, she had to keep up with those brothers of hers. It was only a little over a year later when a third son was born. He was named Tucker, and completed their six person family. All of these brothers had a serious affect on how Daniella would grow up, and they made her who she is today.
As the little girl grew, she adopted the name Kirby. It seemed that Dale had gotten his way afterall. You see, her father had never quite been able to call his daughter by the name Daniella. He had never been fond of it, and had always called the little girl by her middle name. This soon caught on to her brothers and eventually, the only one who called her by Daniella was her mother. Dale had never wanted his princess to do any sports. He was very protective of her, and he was always worried that she would get herself injured. By the time she was six, her oldest brother was already eleven, and the rough housing was rather rough. Kirby was never afraid though, and against her father's wishes, widely participated in everything her brothers did.
Knowing her love of sports, Dale introduced Kirby to ballet. He felt that it would be the perfect sport for his daughter to participate in. It was a girl's sport, as he called it, and it didn't involve any tacking which could get her injured. Kirby only ever wanted to please her father, so she threw her entire self into gymnastics. Sometimes she believes that she never truly loved it, but it had really made her father happy. The newfound dancing took up quite a bit of her life. Holly loved that her daughet was finally doing ballet. She had never really forgiven ehrself for having to miss out on her great career due to the fact of ahving children. She pushed Kirby into the sport even more than Dale had. She made sure that her daughter was either too tired, or too busy to roughhouse with her brothers.
Kirby had always wanted to sing. It was evident that she would have made a very good singer, even from a young age. However, she loved her father and she wanted to make him happy. However, due to the fact that she didn't really love ballet, it got harder and harder as she got better. She never really told her parents of her singing abilities because she knew that they wouldn't go along with her dreams.
Dale passed away when Kirby was only ten. Her father's mysterious death pushed the young child into extreme depression. The tears never seemed to stop flowing, and it took all her mother had to keep their family together. Holly was left a single mother of four. It was an enormous task to take up. Kirby shyed from her mother. Without her father there begging her to give Holly a chance, Kirby didn't want anything to do with her. She clung to her siblings. She rarely left their sight. Although she continued to participate in ballet, after all, it was her life, Kirby became even more sporty. She spent more time on her studies and on her singing. She knew she was breaking her mother's heart, but at the time, she didn't really care.
Kirby was only too happy when it was finally time to head off to highschool. She insisted on a boarding school, after all, she wanted to get away from her mother more that anything. Kirby picked St. Andrews out herself, with the hopes of majoring in music and minoring in dance. Her mother had other plans however, and because she was paying for it, forced Kirby into doing dance. It was almost as if because she didn't get to have her dream, she was going to push her daughter into it.

The West Wing was very dimly lit. It took a few short second for the angel's cerulean colored eyes to adjust to the change in light. From what Darcy could see, the hallway she was in was sparsely furnished. The walls were completely barren and paint could be seen pealing in certain areas. It was evident why no one ever decided to come in here. The smell itself was enough to drive anyone away. Darcy wasn't even entirely sure why she was in here. Maybe it had something to due with disproving all those rumors. I mean, no one seriously believed that whoever came in here disappeared, right? That would be crazy.
Darcy continued towards a flight of stairs. They did not seem very long, and she was curious as to what she would find when she reached the top. Ascending the stairs was no difficult task, and she was already half way to the top when she stopped for a second. She had been almost positive that she had heard something. But that wasn't possible, no one ever came near The West Wing, let alone into it. Continuing to the top, the teen shook the noise off as the creaky floorboards. After all, everything in The West Wing seemed very old, it wasn't unreasonable to believe that this was the cause of the mysterious sound. However, it did bother her enough to make her more cautious, she wouldn't want to stumble upon some teacher who would turn her in.
The silence gave Darcy a chance to think. She was having quite the interesting first semester at Roseate Spires. She had always been isolated from everyone, expecially those who also had powers. Being at this school almost gave her a sense of freedom, and her newfound friends were slowly starting to pull her out of her shell. This was the first point in her life where she actually considered herself a relatively social person. As unhappy as the angel had first been about attending Roseate Spires, Darcy couldn't see herself being any other place.
Just as the angel reached the final step, she heard the sound of light breathing. There was no mistaking that someone else was on this floor. Darcy was usually a very obediant person, it was very out of character to be doing something that was so blatantly against the rules. One part of her brain screamed to turn around and retreat as fast as possible. The other part of her mind was pricked with curiousity, and she couldn't help but sneak a peak around the corner. Another angel it seemed had taken to breaking the rules. Darcy didn't recognize him, and she usually was pretty good with faces. He looked lost in thought, and completely oblivious to her. Judging that the danger level was relatively low, the girl stepped out from around the corner. Taking a few more cautious steps, she decided to introduce herself. Umm. Hello, I-I'm Darcy.
[ooc;; crap, I know. I have to go run so it is rather rushed and my muse is dead]
