The morning was boring, the night before was sad and dismal, and the young seventh year was a bit homesick. Dressed in a pair of blue jeans with many holes, a black beater, a hoodie with a beaters bat on it, and a small grey kitten sticking out of the pocket, and converse, Ian made his way to the lake in hopes to remind himself a bit of home, no matter how much he should be used to it by now.
This was his first year without being around his brother, and that's what he missed the most. He missed being around his brother and just talking to him about quidditch, but when the up coming politics came into play, that's when all went to hell. And it seemed that one day, they might be on opposite sides of the battle field.
Taking off the hoddie to reveal slightly tanned arms, the boy with dreads sat down on the grass and folded the sweatshirt placing it down beside him. Only if he could get his eight track player to work here. "Guess I need to ask a house mate about charming it," he shrugged.
Laying on his back with hands behind his head, he watched the clouds fly by and tried to make out different shapes as his kitten laid on the boy's stomach. Seeing one that resembled a rabbit, the beater chuckled lightly causing Sunny to sit up slightly. "Look at the cloud Sunny, it looks like a little rabbit," he whispered as he scratched behind his furry companion's ear.
Using his free hand to push aside a stray dread that fell from his cap, he closed his eyes enjoying the rays against his skin. This was far more peaceful than his other times so far here. And he was there to stay if he could help it.
